We are looking for an Architect who wants to help establishing the architecture baseline for FPX.

The FPX system will be a cloud hosted SaaS solution for flight planning with a high level of automation and optimization. The system’s main architecture style is micro-services and we will create a modern modular WEB UI.

As associate of the project’s lead architect this person will take an important role in the refinement of the architectural significant requirements, architecture documentation and governance in the project.

Since the role is not accountable for the architecture it might be a good opportunity for personal development.

The person needs to have seniority in development and some experience in architecture or design communication, the ability to talk business with business and code with developers.

Since the entire project is distributed, working odd hours might be needed and a willingness to take the stage on international conference calls.

Required skills:

•                          Development in more than one language, JAVA required

•                          Design documentation, UML diagrams and similar

•                          Technical trade-off analysis

•                          NFR/architecture requirements analysis


Bonus knowledge areas:

•                          containers

•                          cloud infrastructure

•                          API design

•                          WEB UI’s

•                          Cloud/WEB security
