Partners with all levels of Jeppesen's Leadership in the tactical execution of day-to-day business operations duties including maintenance of the overall business management system and established operating rhythm through utilization of Boeing Program Management Best Practices. Also supports the administration and reporting of risks, issues and opportunities (RIO) to Digital Aviation and Analytics.
Essential Duties:
  • Maintains and seeks to improve the organization’s operating rhythm (Corporate) through collaboration with Business Operations Specialist’s from other parts of the organization, as well as those within Boeing who coordinate roll-up reporting to BGS Leadership.  Within Business Operations & PMO this includes administering the logistics of the weekly Senior Leadership Team meeting through scheduling topics and specific special attention presentations or discussions that support rotating meeting themes; providing notification, coaching and guidance to SLT meeting presenters or visitors on the process and procedures to be followed for successfully briefing executive leaders, developing and coordinating weekly agendas, schedules and mechanics of weekly SLT meetings and other special SLT meetings as necessary; posting weekly SLT meeting materials to a secured, shared repository for access by Senior Leadership, and upon approval, providing materials to meeting delegates or other representatives of the Business and Service Units as requested by SLT; and facilitating the weekly Senior Leadership Team meeting as necessary.


  • Develops, maintains and seeks to continuously improve the organization’s Business Management System.  Owns the administration of systems for tracking and reporting corporate goals and imperatives, including alignment and visibility to key business metrics in support of the corporate operating rhythm; supports the coordination of reporting quantitative measures for all imperatives and watch list items; develops and maintains drill-down capabilities from corporate imperatives and watch list items to Business Unit and Operating Unit Imperatives and/or other metrics or status reports; publishing static releases of the Corporate Imperatives chart through appropriate communication channels to support visibility and alignment throughout the organization; and facilitates weekly review, discussion and reporting of all updates through the weekly SLT meetings.


  • Leads others and directs all phases of updates and timely submission of weekly corporate business reporting to support BGS Leadership Team meetings as well as special requests to support BGS or Executive Committee meetings.  Provides detailed briefing to Jeppesen Leadership representatives who are responsible for briefing these reports to Boeing.  Within Business Operations & PMO this includes monitoring standard weekly deck materials for expired or stale data and collaborating with Senior Leadership or their delegates to update the deck as necessary; maintaining close coordination with Boeing BGS PMO on weekly deck requirements and submission deadlines; preparing weekly briefing memo and/or meets directly with Senior Leadership Team members designated to represent Jeppesen in the weekly BGS LT meeting; acting as focal for  BGS PMO special request decks or materials which require coordination with Jeppesen Senior Leadership Team or their designates to create or update to meet specified deadlines.


  • Establishes alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies.  Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative interpersonal working relationships with others.


  • Serves as a focal for tracking and reporting corporate risks, issues and opportunities (RIO).  Facilitates regular updates and review of all Corporate-level RIOs with Jeppesen Senior Leadership and ensures timely updates within the Boeing Opportunity, Risk, and Issues System (BORIS) for those items identified as BGS-level.  Facilitates and often develops RIO mitigation or capture reports identifying detailed plans for how risk or issues will be mitigated or opportunities will be captures.  Also ensures mitigation and capture report details are entered into BORIS for  BGS-level items.


  • Continuously seeks to expand and improve personal knowledge in area of program and project management best practices and leads the development of new processes or changes to existing processes within Jeppesen that continue to mature the Business Management System.


  • Provides guidance, support, and/or development of departmental goals and imperatives to support greater visibility and tracking of critical efforts or initiatives within Business Units and Operating Units.  Includes maintaining the Jeppesen Operations dashboard for the Chief Operating Officer in support of JeppOps staff meetings.
Degree in a related field of study and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
