Time period: September 1, 2018 – April 30, 2019

Role: Coop/Intern – IT Service Desk Analyst

Role is located at the Boeing Vancouver headquarters in Richmond, BC.

Responsibilities include:

• L1 support for IT Service Desk tickets

• Triage and routing of tickets to appropriate resources

• Audio/visual gear setup in preparation for events

• Knowledgebase article documentation

• Process documentation

• Helping users with various software and hardware issues

• Preparing new computers

• Inventory of IT assets

Learning opportunities include:

• This role allows the candidate to meet everyone in the company as they are assisting with the initial ticket.

• Working very closely with mobile, desktop, infrastructure and security groups.

• Mentoring by L2 support personnel.

• Candidate will create learning objectives that will be supported by the IT group which could include: network, virtualization, security, etc.
