Within AerData, software developers and aviation experts work together seamlessly in order to deliver exceptional software, product support and reliable back office services to the aviation industry.


Currently we are looking for: Customer Support Specialist (Technical)


Localization: Amsterdam, NL


 Role overview:


·         Provide technical consultancy on engine maintenance and fleet planning

·         Provide customer subject matter expertise (SME) akin to Product

·         Customer relationship and management

·         Define customer requirements for Product development

·         Establish data analysis to import data to EFPAC

·         Act as focal point for EFPAC/AerData, involving other key stakeholders when      

·         necessary

·         Participate with creation, support and execution of customer SO

·         Identify problem solving + investigate customer issues – triage when necessary


Skills & knowledge

-        Aeronautical engineering degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience in the aviation industry (airline, lessor, MRO) is required

 Maintain aviation/industry knowledge and experience

-        knowledge and experience in the IT industry is highly valued·    

-        Has an advanced understanding of engine types and configuration operated in commercial aviation, is aware of typical maintenance policies and requirements, is familiar with most fleet operation policies in the short, medium and long term. Understands lease contracts at an advanced level.

-        Familiarity in aviation regulations

-        obtain results, working as part of a small team or follow problems through to resolution would typically result in satisfied customers with optimal expenditure of resources.


Software development

-        To conduct regression testing ahead of software releases

-        To support the EFPAC Dev team in fixing bugs
