Jeppesen is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Corporation and is seeking a seasoned Sales Executive to drive new business growth. 


Working within the Government & Military Aviation division, the successful candidate will have  demonstrated  previous success in selling into this market segment.


The Sales Executive role represents the entire Boeing Digital Aviation & Jeppesen portfolio, offering solutions which support both the Flight, and Technical operations domains.  Experience in selling complex software solutions will within these domains will be a pre-requisite for the position.


Secondary language skills would be highly beneficial given the geographic (EMEA) scope of the assigned territory and the position will require significant travel in order to perform effectively. 


Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Identifies, qualifies, further develops, and closes complex sales to new and existing customers.
  • Develops, maintains, and advances relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities. 
  • Documents and communicates the ‘voice of the customer’ to internal stakeholders to facilitate product evolution.
  • Leads and executes sales campaigns for assigned regions in compliance with defined business acquisition processes.
  • Leverages resources and knowledge of Boeing Digital Aviation products, services, processes and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage, and foster new business growth.
  • Leads the creation of proposals and negotiates contracts for management approval.
  • Develops and communicates the status of strategic opportunity plans to leadership teams.
  • Participates in relevant trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and other events to keep abreast of industry developments and seek potential customers. 
  • Delivers presentations to prospective customers within territory, or as required.
  • Lead internal ‘gate reviews’ for program opportunities to assist the organization in making the right investment and business decisions.
  • 5-10 years relevant work experience in a sales position  
  • Strong background in selling complex IT and/or consulting solutions within the Government & Military market
  • Highly developed ability to ‘hunt’ new business opportunity
  • Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and experience in closing profitable high value  contracts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, at all levels within government agencies.
  • Knowledge of aviation, airline operations and software lifecycles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, speaking Arabic is a strong asset
  • Ability to organize and present material to external customers as well as to Jeppesen/Boeing Senior Leadership.
  • Act as a ‘capture team leader’ in instances of complex sales opportunities
  • Create and maintain pipelines utilizing Salesforce

Education/Experience:

  • 5-10 years relevant work experience in a sales position       
  • Strong background in selling complex IT and/or consulting solutions within the Government & Military market
  • Highly developed ability to ‘hunt’ new business opportunity
  • Domain experience in either Flight or Technical Operations for a military or airline organization

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and experience in closing profitable high value  contracts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, at all levels within government agencies.
  • Knowledge of aviation, airline operations and software lifecycles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, speaking Arabic is a strong merit
  • Ability to organize and present material to external customers as well as to Jeppesen/Boeing Senior Leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, adaptable and be able to work effectively under pressure and rigid timelines.
