Represents Jeppesen to clients (both internal and external), vendors and the travel industry to facilitate delivery of travel products and services. Responds to key account inquiries and ensures the customer's timely receipt of newsletters, reports and other travel services communications. Initiates corrective actions relating to existing services, recommends service improvements and enhancements and conducts or arranges vendor negotiations on behalf of the customer. Maintains current key clients by coordinating travel management services to ensure quality service. Benchmarks travel management industry standards, works with internal and external managers to understand customer expectations and develops and recommends strategies to reduce travel expenses. Supports transition from other travel providers to the company's travel management services.



Essential Duties:

  • Represents Jeppesen while maintaining effective relationships with clients, vendors and travel industry associates. Interfaces with all levels of Jeppesen functions and client organizations to facilitate delivery of travel management products and services aligned with both internal and external client needs and Jeppesen's financial goals.
  • Administers negotiated contracts for travel vendor services by implementing, communicating and monitoring compliance and performance to maximize benefit to Jeppesen and its clients.
  • Interacts with ITPS to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to ITPS clients.
  • Interprets and enforces Jeppesen’s global corporate travel and expense policy.
  • Resolves, responds to and proactively anticipates client, vendor and internal Jeppesen needs and concerns and initiates actions for problem resolution, service enhancements, cost savings and process improvements. Utilizes data analyses, customer knowledge and industry acumen to conduct negotiations for Jeppesen or on behalf of the client to maximize vendor discounts, enhance effective partnerships or renew/amend existing client/vendor agreements.
  • Partners with colleagues and clients to understand the client's travel management needs and requirements. Incorporates those parameters in developing, recommending and implementing strategies in alignment with Jeppesen’s financial goals to maximize cost savings and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Evaluates Jeppesen’s products, services and processes against industry standards and norms to validate existing service offerings and identify best practices to drive continuous improvements and maintain a competitive advantage.  Coordinates with ITPS to develop and implement products and services designed to enhance Jeppesen’s overall service offering.
  • Produces travel management reports from a variety of sources (e.g., financial, travel patterns, trend data, industry data) and analyzes data to assist in providing effective travel management to Jeppesen and its clients and maximize Jeppesen’s profitability.




Degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies.
  • Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives.
  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives typically have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
